Best Silicone Wedding Rings for Men

Our silicone wedding rings are the ring you wear when your metal one shouldn't be on your finger: on site, in the gym, on a ward shift or on a long-haul flight. They're 8mm and 8.7mm bands in black, grey and white, in bevelled, domed and grooved profiles, light enough to forget about and soft enough to grip a bar or a tool without pinching.

The reason most men buy one is safety. A metal ring that catches on machinery, a ladder or a fence can do serious damage to a finger; silicone stretches and gives way under that kind of load instead of holding on. It doesn't conduct electricity, so it's a sensible choice around live circuits, and it's hypoallergenic, so it suits sensitive skin.

Plenty of our customers wear two rings: their metal band for the wedding, weekends and evenings, and silicone for work and training. That's why one comes free with every metal ring order. Browse our men's wedding rings for the other half, or see how it works in practice in wedding rings for construction workers.

Silicone ring questions

How do silicone ring sizes work?
Each silicone band covers two sizes, from O–P (US 7–7.5) up to Z+3–Z+4 (US 14–14.5). Silicone has a little give, so choose the pair that includes your metal ring size.
Can I wear a silicone ring for electrical work?
Silicone doesn't conduct electricity, which is why electricians often wear one in place of a metal band. Always follow your site's own rules, as some ask for no rings at all.
Are silicone rings hypoallergenic?
Yes. There's no metal in them, so they're a good option if metal rings irritate your skin.
